Rich Honour Industrial Limited operates https://arivalsim.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it. We have kept the list short on purpose: we collect the minimum needed to sell you an eSIM and support it.
What we collect
- Your email address. Needed to deliver the eSIM and to contact you about that order.
- Order records. Which plan you bought, when, the amount, and the identifiers of the eSIM issued to you (ICCID and activation details).
- Where you are when you order. When you place an order we record your IP address and the country it indicates, and when payment completes we record the country shown on your payment details. Tax on mobile data services is charged according to where the customer is, and the rules require two independent pieces of evidence of that, so we keep both. We do not use this to profile you, to target advertising, or to vary prices by country.
- Technical data. Standard server logs, and the country your request comes from, which we also use to pick the language the site opens in.
- Language preference. Stored in a cookie so the site stays in the language you chose.
Store credit
Every order earns a small percentage back as credit. This happens automatically; there is nothing to sign up for and no account to create. To run it we hold, against your email address:
- Each amount of credit you earned, which order produced it, how much of it you have left, and the date it expires. Credit is valid for six months.
- How much credit was applied to each order. It is deducted automatically at checkout, oldest expiring first, and the amount is recorded on the order.
Credit is tied to the email address you buy with. We cannot move it to a different address, and anyone who can read that inbox can spend it, exactly as with your eSIMs. If an order is refunded, the credit it earned is cancelled; if you start an order and never pay, any credit it had used is given back to you.
Credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is not refundable. We keep the record of it for as long as we keep the order it belongs to.
If you join the referral programme
Taking part is optional and nothing below applies unless you do. If you do, we additionally hold:
- Your referral code, generated by us and tied to your email address.
- Which orders came through your link, and the reward earned on each. We record the order, not the buyer: you never see who bought, only the destination and the amount.
- Where to send your money. This is whatever you type into the payout field — we do not verify it and we do not enrich it. We ask for an e-wallet address rather than a bank account number, because the less sensitive the detail we hold, the less a breach costs you. We keep it only to pay you, and we do not share it with anyone except the bank or wallet provider used to make that payment.
- A record of each payment we make to you, which we keep as long as accounting and tax rules require.
If someone uses your link, we store their order against your code. From their side this is an ordinary order; from yours it appears only as a reward amount. You can ask us to close your referral account at any time, and we will delete your code and your payout details. Records of payments already made to you stay, for the same accounting reasons as order records.
A referral link places a cookie in the visitor’s browser for 30 days so the discount can be applied at checkout. It holds a referral code and nothing else. It is not used to track browsing.
What we do not collect
- Card details. Payment is handled by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers.
- Your browsing, messages or call records. We do not have access to the traffic that passes over the mobile networks.
- No account is required, so we hold no password for you.
Who else receives your data
- Our eSIM supplier, to issue and support the profile you bought.
- Our payment processor, to take payment and handle refunds and disputes.
- Our hosting and email providers, which process data on our instructions to run the site and deliver your eSIM.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where data is processed
We are based in Hong Kong SAR. Our suppliers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records, including the location evidence described above, are kept for as long as the tax authorities of the countries we sell into require us to. In the European Union that period is ten years. We cannot shorten it, and we cannot delete these records on request, because holding them is a legal obligation rather than a choice.
Server logs that are not attached to an order are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then discarded.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to certain processing. Email info@arivalsim.com and we will respond.
We may need to keep records of a completed sale even after a deletion request, where the law requires us to. In practice this means we can delete marketing and support correspondence, but not the order record itself or the location evidence attached to it, until the retention period above has passed.
Cookies and browser storage
- Language. A cookie holding the language you chose, so the site opens in it next time.
- Referral code. Set only if you arrive through someone’s referral link, kept for 30 days, so the discount can be applied when you buy. It holds a code and nothing else.
- Currency. Your display-currency choice, kept in your browser’s own storage rather than a cookie. It never reaches our servers — prices are always charged in US dollars.
- Advertising click id. If you reach us by clicking one of our Google ads, we keep the click id Google puts in that link, for 90 days, so that when someone buys we can tell which ad paid for itself. It holds that one id and nothing else: no profile, no record of what you looked at, nothing shared with anyone while you browse. We set it only for visitors outside the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — if you are in any of those, or if we cannot tell where you are, it is not set at all.
That is all of it. We use no analytics, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party tags of any kind — the advertising cookie above is our own, is set only outside the regions whose rules require asking first, and is the only one of its sort. That is why this site has no cookie banner.
